COUNCIL #10921 - ST. JOSEPH THE WORKER REMEMBERS
MARC TOBASH

Marc Tobash, died unexpectedly on December 14, 2017 in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania at the age of 28. Born in Allentown, December 19, 1988, Marc was the son of Dennis G. and Lisa A. Tobash of Orefield. He was a graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School, Class of 2007. Never one to enjoy academia, Marc went on to attend the Welder Training and Testing Institute in Allentown. Upon completing his training, he quickly entered the workforce as a shop floor welder. Marc was career driven and very hard working. This drive and dedication allowed Marc to excel in the construction field by taking on more responsibilities and duties with each opportunity. Most recently, he was the superintendent leading a bridge construction team for The H & K Group. Regardless of how focused Marc was on his career, he never lost sight of what is most important in his life…his family and friends. Marc will be remembered for his uncanny wit and sense of humor. He preferred bear hugs to handshakes and met every day with a “glass half full” mentality. It was very difficult not to smile, laugh or have fun around Marc but that was not because he enjoyed being the center of attention, it’s because he cared. Marc had a heart of gold and genuinely cared about how friends and family around him were feeling. Always generous and protective, Marc never hesitated to lift others up or lend a hand. He’d take a stand for things he believed in, even if he stood alone. Marc filled the roles of son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend the best way he knew how. It was uniquely Marc but at its core it was loving and caring. He has left an indelible mark on the heart and soul of his family and friends and will be forever missed. Marc was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield and a Second Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 10921.
