Wallace Joseph BUCKLEN Wallace Joseph Bucklen, 87, of Maple Valley, passed away on Feb ruary 22, 2012, after suffering from a massive stroke. He was born August 6, 1924 in Chica go. At 18 years old Wally joined the Navy and served in WWII and the Korean Conflict. After the Navy, Wally was a Mechanical Engineer until his retirement in 1990. In 1948 he married Dorothy J. Thoma in Chicago and moved to California in 1953. In 1987 they moved to Wash ington. Wally was father to Wally Jr., Paul (Becky), Mark (Sue) and Mary (Mark). Grandfather to John and Kaitlyn Bucklen, Erin and Michael Stoltenberg. Great Grandfather to Nicholas Bucklen. Grandpa to Matt and Roseann Dial. Wally was very active in the Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. He loved play ing the organ for family and friends and his beloved computer. Wally was always ready to help everyone. |
