WILLIAM C HAGEN

 

William C. Hagen, 77, of E. Hampstead, NH died Mon. March 23rd at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. He was formerly of Salem NH.William was born and educated in Dorchester, MA the son of the late Mary Eileen (O’Brien) and Louis Hagen. He retired from the US Army after 27 years of service as a Sergeant and member of the 368th Army Corps of Engineers. During his service in Germany during the Korean War, he was a member of the Constabulary. William was the recipient of the Bronze Service Star. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and the US Constabulary Association. He enjoyed camping, traveling in his RV and going to antique military truck shows.

William was predeceased by his wife Louise (Conte) Hagen and his children Karen Iannuccillo and Michael Hagen.

Calling hours will be Fri. March 27th from 3-7 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday March 28th at 10:30 AM at St. Anne’s Church in Hampstead, NH. Burial will follow in the West Hampstead Cemetery.
