Brother Knight Robert Kalwa passed into his heavenly reward on August 23, 2017. Please extend your prayers and condolences to the Kalwa Family
Robert M. Kalwa, 69, of Sykesville died Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the Carroll Dove House. Born May 16, 1948 in Baltimore he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Blachowicz Kalwa. He was the husband of Eileen M. Kalwa. They had been married for 49 years. Robert was a master electrician. He was a member of the IBEW Local 24. He also had worked for 10 years at Ottenberg's Bakery. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church Community. In addition to his wife, he is survived by son Daniel R. Kalwa, daughter and son-in-law Suzanne R. Mattes and Daniel and sister Kathleen Pennington. The family will receive friends at The Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD 21784 on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 915 Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD on Tuesday, 11:00 AM with Fr. Neville O'Donohue, S.M., officiating.
