Albert Catullo, 97, of Monroeville, died Monday, March 17, 2014. He was the husband of Yolanda C. Catullo for 67 years; loving father of John Catullo, of Wellsburg, W. Va., Mark Catullo, of Monroeville, and the late Patricia Sowansky; grandfather of Patsy and Al Arabia, Brea Bernardi, Jean, Carissa, Elizabeth and Jennifer Catullo; great-grandfather of four; and brother of William, of Plum, Raymond, of Allison Park and Ida Eversman, of Shaler Township. He was preceded in death by sisters, Anna Patrick, Agnes Butterhoff and Emma Gentile; and brother, Daniel Catullo. Al was a World War II Army Air Corp veteran and a retired mechanic at International Harvester in the Northside Branch. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Monroeville. Friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME, TURTLE CREEK/MONROEVILLE CHAPEL, 1111 Monroeville Ave. at James St., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Colman Church. Burial with military honors will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. |
