Age 82, of Monroeville, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016. Beloved husband of Ida (Go) Sarte; loving father of Luisito Sarte, Mary (Reneirio) Gancia, Gima (Gil) Ramos, Louie Sarte III, and Luida (Gilbert) Calina; also two sisters; and 13 grandchildren (one deceased). Louie was a founder of the Filippino American Association in New Jersey and a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus, Monroeville Chapter. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE / PLUM CHAPEL), corner of (445) Beatty Rd. and 48 North, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette Parish Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. Private interment will take place in his hometown, Napo Polangue Albay in the Phillippines.
