On Thursday, March 27, 2014, Michael T. Castagnero, 79, of Pitcairn. He was the son of the late Charles and Inez Castagnero; beloved husband of Arlene R. (Dunsmore) Castagnero for 56 years; father of Michael C. (Kim), Patrick J., Robin M. (John) Prucnal, Daniel J. (Rick), Steven J. (Carra) and Robert B. "Toots" (Julie) Castagnero; grandfather of Michael, Meghan, Matthew, Madison, Zachary, Katy, Alex, Jake, Mia, Connor, Annie and Erin; brother of the late Paul Castagnero. Mike was a retired project engineer for Jacob Engineering, a life member of Pitcairn Camp "B," Pitcairn Lions Club, a Democratic committee member, borough councilman, past treasurer of Pitcairn Fire Co. #2, past Cubmaster of Cub Scout Pack #50, past treasurer of Boy Scout Troop #51 and past president of Gateway Football Boosters. Friends will be received Monday from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the WM. O. PEARCE FUNERAL HOME INC., 318 Wall Avenue, Pitcairn. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church on Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Rev.
