SEMAN MICHAEL C.
Of Monroeville, formerly of New Kensington, age 92, on May 5, 2013. Beloved husband of Stella J. (Ososky) Seman for 68 years; the loving father of five sons: Richard (Loryane), Michael (Nancy), Daniel (Cecilia), Ronald (Debbie), and Jeffrey (Michelle); the dear grandfather of Angela (Matt) Episcopo, Amy (Matt) Hartman, Owen (Mary) Seman, Heather (Darren) Butler, Daniel (Katy) Seman, Jessica (Jason) Miller, Michael (Katie) Seman, JonMichel (Stacy) Seman, Ronald Seman, and Mitchell Seman; the proud great-grandfather of Vinny and Octavia Episcopo, Luke and Caroline Rose Hartman, Sebastian and Madalyn Seman, Grace and Patrick Seman, Ethan Seman, and Jordan and Payge Miller. During his working career, Mike was a machine designer/draftsman for several local corporations and engineering firms. He was an excellent draftsman whose work was easily identified. "No one makes a drawing like Mike" his associates would say. He was a lifelong woodworker and later developed a passion for writing poetry. He pleased his family and friends with masterful works in both wood and words. Only the loss of his eyesight could stop his creativity. Mike was active for many years in the Monroeville Senior Center, Meals On Wheels and the Knights of Columbus and his grandchildren have many fond memories of annual Christmas parties and summer picnics. Mike was preceded in death by infant daughter, Rebecca Lynn. He was also a WWII Navy veteran. He led a full, productive, and happy life. He will be greatly missed. Family and friends will be received for a visitation on Tuesday, May 7 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the GENE H. CORL INC. FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATION SERVICES of Monroeville, 4335 Northern Pike (one block east of Mosside Blvd.-Rte 48). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernadette Church in Monroeville on Wednesday, May 8 at 10:30 a.m. Interment following at Good Shepherd Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mike's name to Meals on Wheels c/o the funeral chapel.
