Charles A. Dwyer, 86, of Monroeville, died Sunday, May 17, 2009. He was the beloved husband of Helen; father of Judith Anne (Dr. Bill) Scheeren, Thomas (Carolyn) Dwyer, Dr. Kathleen Dwyer, Dr. Robert (Gail) Dwyer; grandfather of Megan (Thomas) Galia and Alison Dwyer; great-grandfather of Grace and Henry Galia; brother of Mary Alice Westrich and the late Robert Dwyer, Margaret Snapp and Nancy Dwyer. Chuck was a member of North American Martyrs Church, where he served as an usher, Knights of Columbus and was a Navy submarine veteran in the Silent Service. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the GENE H. CORL INC. FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATION CENTER OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike, one block east of Mosside Boulevard, Route 48, a Golden Rule member. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday at North American Martyrs Church. Interment at St. Vincent Cemetery, Latrobe. |
