Jeffrey Lee Bachman Jeffrey Lee Bachman, Lt. Col. U.S. Army, Retired, died on Sunday, April 13, 2008, in Raleigh, N.C. Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife, Angela (Butchko), his five daughters, Katelyn, Aliana, Jessica, Clare and Anna Bachman, his son, Luke Bachman; his father, Lanny and his wife Betty Bachman, of Auburn, Pa., his mother, Joan Bachman, of Hamburg, Pa.; his three brothers, Lanny Bachman Jr. and his wife, Michelle, Douglas Bachman, Michael Bachman, his sister Bobbi Kline and her husband, Richard and many nieces and nephews. Jeffrey' s love for his children led him to countless hours of reading stories, playing Mousetrap, Chutes and Ladders, soccer and Wii, as well as feeding the birds and growing flowers and tomatoes with them. Jeffrey dedicated 23 years of his life to service in the U.S. Army before retiring in 2007. He continued his career at Lockheed Martin. He was an active member of Saint Frances of Assisi Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Jeffrey from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd. Dale City, VA 22193. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 18825 Fuller Heights Rd., Triangle, VA 22172 with interment to follow at Quantico National Cemetery. Following the internment, there will be a reception to celebrate Jeffrey' s life at Saint Francis.
