Vicente Concepcion Fejeran 1930-2003-Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and Friend, passed away suddenly on Sunday evening December 7th. Vicente served God, Country and Family with the utmost regard. Vicente was raised a traditional man on the island of Guam, USA along with his brothers and sisters. Vicente passed those traditions on to his immediate family. As a teenager, he survived the Japanese Occupation of Guam in WWII. This experience lead him into a career in the United State Army for 25 years, last serving with Company A, 2nd Battalion, 4th Brigade Ft. Ord, California. He served in both Korea and Vietnam. He was decorated and honored with the National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Vietnam Revolutionary Development Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and a Meritorious Service Medal. Vicente was Honorably Discharged as SFC E7, followed by civil service duties from 1981 to 1988 at Ft. Ord, California. Vicente lived most of his life in Salinas, California with his wife, Matilde Fejeran and raised three daughters: Teresa, Anna and Lupe. He served as a Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus at Madonna Del Sasso Church. Vicente enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards, cooking for his family, and rooted for the Fighting Irish and Boston Red Sox. Vicente had been living in Allen, Texas with his daughter, Teresa, son-in-law, Eddie and grandson, Vincent Saucedo for the past 6 years and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4380 in Plano, Texas. Vicente is survived by Matilde Fejeran, their daughter; 4 grandchildren, Vincent Saucedo, Cody, Connor, and Chad Rocamora; brother, Larry Fejeran; sisters, Ann Taimanglo and Maggie Quan, Rita Torres, Julie Huddleston, Ginnie Cepeda, Eliza Maza and Lourdes Fejeran. The Rosary and viewing will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas on Thursday, December 11th from 7:00-9:00 PM. The funeral ceremony will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Churchin Plano on Friday, December 12th at 10 AM preceded by a farewell viewing at 9 AM. Vicente will be laid to rest at the Dallas-Ft.
