GRADY PAUL CLUBB

 

Grady Paul “Uncle Junior” Clubb, 83, of Fannett died October 20, 2006. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II.

Grady was a retired rice farmer, he served on the board of directors for Coastal Soil and Water Conservation District 432 for thirty-five years, past commander of Post 33 American Legion and Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by seven nieces, Belva Ann Dallison and her husband Kent, Marie Clubb and her husband Ronnie, Scottie Norman and her husband Eddie, Annetta Craigen and her husband James and Judy McGee and her husband John all of Fannett, Arlene Gisselberg and her husband David of Groves and Theresea McCollum and her husband Thad of Lumberton; brother, Randolph Clubb and his wife Lola Mae of Fannett; numerous great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews. Grady was preceded in death by his parents, Grady D. and Belva Aubey Clubb; brother, Owen L. Clubb; and sister-in-law, Avis Clubb.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 23, 2006 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fannett under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, followed by burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A Rosary will be recited 4:00 P.M. Sunday with a Christian Vigil at 6:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
