RAYMOND LABOVE

 

Raymond Lee Labove, 80, of Beaumont died May 20, 2008 at Harbor Hospice House. A native of Sabine Pass and a lifelong resident of the area, Raymond was an electrician for Local #479. He was an active member and photographer for VFW Post 1514 Village Mills and American Legion Post #112 Vidor. Raymond was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II. An avid musician, he shared his talents with local senior citizens, nursing homes and hospitals.

Raymond was preceded in death by Roxie, his beloved wife of fifty-seven years. He is survived by his daughter, Raymonette Mayfield and her husband Steve of Houston; granddaughter, Jacie McWilliams and her husband Carl of Beaumont; great grandsons, Corbin and Caleb McWilliams of Beaumont; and sister, Joyce LaBove of Vidor.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday evening, May 23, 2008 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
