Francis Ray Picou, 82, of Beaumont, died Saturday, March 25, 2017. He was born on February 19, 1935, in Port Arthur, to Adelaide Carrier Picou and Talton Joseph Picou.
Survivors include his sons, Mark Picou and his wife, Sheila, of Sour Lake and Denis Picou and his wife, Stacy, of Fannett; daughter, Missy LeBlanc and her husband, Curtis, of Fannett; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Margie Carter, Lee Bertrand, Ann Hubbard, Alicia Harvey; and Jimmy, Tommy, Tony, Steve, Paul, Gabriel, and Victor Picou; and brother-in-law, David Manuel and his wife, Sandra, of Fannett.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of fifty-seven years, Audrey Manuel Picou; son, Eric Picou; and siblings, Clarence and Donald Picou, Essie Hidalgo, and Theresa Devillier.
A gathering of Mr. Picou’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with his Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30, 2017, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 9894 Gilbert, Fannett, with his interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie. |
