Obituary for Clarence H. Krebs
Clarence H. Krebs, age 93 of Carlyle, born Aug. 25th, 1923, son of Casper and Mathilda (Diekemper), died February 13, 2017 at home.
Clarence was a lifelong dairy farmer. He was involved for over 60 years as Fair board member. Also, he was a member of the Farm Bureau, Soil Conservation, and sat on the Carlyle Township board for 15 years, and active in the Knights of Columbus, and member of St Mary’s Parish.
Clarence is preceded in death by his parents and wife Marcella†Sally “(Duing), whom he married on April 27th, 1948 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown. Also, sisters Rita Jansen, Florence Wolters, Lorraine Huelskamp, and daughter in law Brenda Krebs.
Surviving are his children Julie (Ray) Brown of Hazelwood Mo., Patty Krebs (Ed Audelo) of Vancouver Wa., Gary (Aldenise) Krebs of Marietta Ga., Kevin Krebs of Carlyle .His six grandchildren Sarah and Tim Brown, Camille and Marcie Audelo, Jessica Kohnen and Robbie Krebs, two great-grandchildren Natalie and Ben Kohnen. Clarence’s sisters Helen Luebbers, and Dolly Lampe.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Carlyle with Fr. George Mauck officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Carlyle.
Visitation will bon Friday, February 24, 2017 from 4 until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 8 until 9:45 AM at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle.
