DAL CURRIER

Brother Sir Knight Dal Currier was born December 13, 1937 in New Iberia, La. and went to his eternal reward Jan. 30, 2016. Dal was a wonderful Catholic gentleman and a great patriot. Dal is survived by his wife, Ernestine, and his three children, Verna, Patrick, and Renee. Dal was an engineer and worked for NASA, JPL, and an oil well tool company. He worked on many projects that were of historical importance and yet would tell you it was no big thing, "just doing my job." Dal served in the military for many years and was very proud to have done so. Dal joined the Knights of Columbus on March 18, 2010, was exemplified to the 2nd and 3rd degree on April 10, 2010. He became a 4th degree Knight on Oct. 10 that same
year. Dal was extremely proud to become a 4th degree Knight because this is the degree that stands for patriotism. The Knights of Columbus have lost a great brother, but God has gained a great Catholic Gentleman. Rest in the Peace of God's love, Sir Knight Dal Currier. You will be missed by all.
