Michael J. Rekowski, 83, passed away peacefully Monday at his home surrounded by his family. Michael was the beloved husband of Agatha Rekowski, nee Neises. Loving father of Michael Rekowski, Marie (Sam) Lanza, Tom Rekowski, and Karen (Chris) Blair. Cherished grandfather of Beck Michael Blair. Dearest stepfather of 5. Proud stepgrandfather of 10 and great-stepgrandfather of 3. Loving uncle of many. He was preceded in death by wife Janet Rekowski, nee Lesniak, his sister Patricia (the late Chuck) Sampey, and his son-in-law Greg Kerr. Michael was a past Grand Knight of the Mount Prospect Council of Knights of Columbus. He was a member of St. Raymond de Penafort Church in Mount Prospect for over 40 years. He was an avid golfer and fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears. |
