SK JACK T MORROW

 

John "Jack" T. Morrow, a longtime resident of Mount Prospect, was born on March 15, 1932 in Chicago to John and Dorothy (nee Marshall) Morrow. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his wife, Dorothea and adult children, Palm Sunday, March 29, 2015. Jack served his country in Korea during 1953-1954. He joined his father's company, J.F. Morrow & Sons, Inc. in 1953 as an outside salesman and later became president. Jack served as director and president of the Midwest Church Goods Association from 1960-1967 and was president of the National Church Goods Association from 1969-1979. Jack also served on the board of directors of the Norwood Federal Savings Bank in Chicago. Jack is survived by his spouse of 62 years, Dorothea (nee Porter) Morrow, whom he married on May 24, 1952 in Chicago; his children, Susan Therese (James) Johnson, Kenneth W. Morrow, and Mary Beth Morrow; his grandchildren, Colette (Jason) Schockman, Daniel (Suzanne) Stone, Michelle (Steve) Hall, Tomas Echeverri, and Kelly Echeverri; and his great-grandchildren, Grace, Larissa, Micah, Matthew, Clara, and Bee. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth D. Morrow; and his parents.
