Ronald S. Pankow, 76, passed away peacefully due to complications from colon cancer on Friday, August 15, 2014 at Northwest Community Hospital, surrounded by his immediate family. He was born April 29, 1938 in Chicago. Ronald spent the majority of his career with Beltone Electronics, Chicago, and finished his professional career as owner of Allied Spring & Mfg. Co., Elk Grove Village and was an active member of CASMI, the Chicago Association of Spring Manufacturers. Ronald was an active parishioner at St. Cecilia Church, Mount Prospect, where he was an usher at 9:00 AM Mass for many years. He held the rank of 4th Degree with the Knights of Columbus. He is loved by his family and friends and all those who had the opportunity to know him. Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Diane Pankow, his four children, Jeffrey (Susan), Debbie (Ken) LeComte, Michael (Sherri) and Mark (Courtney), his 10 grandchildren Kyler, David, Sophia, Lian, Karson, Isabel, Kane, Melanie, Riley and Hunter and brother Robert (Diane) Pankow. He was preceded in death by his parents Sophie and Stanley Pankow. Ronald is also survived by his in-laws, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
