Wallace "Wally" Carl Suggs passed away peacefully, with family at his side, on October 6, 2016. He was 94 years old.
Wally spent most of his childhood in Wyoming. It is here he met his wife, Jennie. They married in 1947 and moved to California in 1948. They had 8 children and were active members of Saint Columban's Parish in Garden Grove, California.
A proud "navy man," Wally served in WWII and the Korean War as a communications specialist. He supported his family through his work at Ford Aerospace until his retirement. Wally enjoyed fishing and was a model railroad enthusiast.
Wally was preceded in death by three children (Russell, Mary and Michael) and his wife Jennie. He is survived by 5 children and their spouses: Linda Owens, Spring, TX; Mark Suggs, Moscow, ID; Joseph Suggs, Langley, WA; Christie Cox, Everett, WA; and John Suggs, Tustin, CA.
Wally will be remembered by his grandchildren and their families: Aaron Owens, Laura Lee, Lissa Walker, David Owens, Sidney Suggs, Paul Suggs, Madeleine Suggs, Katherine Suggs, Samantha Cox, Jack Suggs, Nikolas Suggs, and Ava Suggs. He was very proud to claim 7 great-grandchildren: Madison and Mikayla Owens, Addison and Taylor Lee, Karra and Alissa Walker, and Carter Owens.
