Nicholas D."Nick" Tarabocchia, 78, of Breinigsville, formerly of New Jersey, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Rosalie A. (D'Angelico) Tarabocchia to whom he was married 53 years. Born in Yugoslavia, May 1, 1938, Nick was the son of the late Nicolo and Maria Tarabocchia. A member of the Teamsters Union Local # 560, he was employed as a truck driver for Benjamin Moore in Clifton, NJ for 25 years before retiring. Nick was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield and the Knights of Columbus, Council # 10921.
Survivors: In addition to his wife; sons, John N. Tarabocchia and his wife, Diane of Kearny, NJ and David G. Tarabocchia of Allentown; grandsons, Nicholas and Ryan; sister-in-law, Linda A. Gillan; a niece and nephews.
Service: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am. Monday, October 3, 2016 at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield. Family and friends may pay their respects from 2 - 5:00 pm. Sunday in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville. Interment will follow the Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum, North Arlington, NJ. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
