Stanley L. Domin of Schaumburg since 1967 Prayers for Stanley L. Domin, 84, will be said at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road), Streamwood/Schaumburg, and proceed to Church of the Holy Spirit for noon Mass. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Born Nov. 11, 1920, in Chicago, he died Saturday, July 2, 2005, at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was an active longtime member of Church of the Holy Spirit in Schaumburg where he served as Minister of Communion and Usher and Minister of Care. He recently received a 50-year pin from the Knights of Columbus. He was the husband of the late Eleanor M. "Lee" (nee Schroeder); father of Terrence L. (Marie) of Crystal Lake and Douglas J. (Victoria) of Virginia; grandfather of Blake, Bryn, Cherri Lynn (Michael) Kowalchuk, Andrew, Brock and Doug Jr. (Sandra); great-grandfather of Aleksander, Nikolai and Tomas Kowalchuk and Olivia Domin; brother of Joseph (Barbara) of Phoenix, Ariz.; and longtime friend of Fr.
