Rev. Kenneth R. Bratko of Schaumburg A funeral Mass for Rev. Kenneth R. Bratko, C.R., 59, will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Thursday, at St. Matthew Church, 1002 E. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg. Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of services Thursday, at the church. Born May 8, 1945, in Chicago, he died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2004, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Schaumburg. Fr. Ken was a member of the Congregation of the Resurrection for 40 years, and a priest for 32 years. He was the associate pastor at St. Matthew Church for nine years. He was the beloved son of the late Edward and Florence (nee Brzezinski); dearest brother of James (Dorothy) of Steward, Ill. and Alice of Wheeling; fond uncle of Jerome (Heidi), Jeffrey (Tania) and Johanna; great-uncle of Matthew, Megan and Mark; nephew of Gert (Phil) Ganczak; cousin of Mary (Tom) Ptak; and second cousin of Corrine, Catherine, Stephanie and Tom Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Senior Retirement Fund of the Congregation of the Resurrection, 7050 N.
