LAUREN J REID

Lauren J. Reid passed from this life on Saturday June 4th. He was a husband, father, grandfather, brother and most of all a friend to many who his life touched. He married his high school sweetheart Doris (Carey) Reid who was always his bride. He and Doris have two daughters Kari and Kelly Reid and the joyful addition to his life, granddaughter Ava Reid. These four women are a legacy he leaves to cherish his memory. Lauren also leaves behind brothers Earl (Cornelia), Dane and sister Mary Reid, brother in law Dan (Dawn) Carey and numerous relatives including nieces, nephews, cousins both immediate and extended family.

Lauren will be missed by numerous friends, associates and a special group of friends known as the boys club. Lauren was a proud graduate of Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. Lauren's career was highlighted by his success in the fire and water damage restoration industry. He always believed that people were the most important element of any organization and that belief along with a strong work ethic propelled him to a very successful work life.

Visitation Thursday 3 to 8 PM at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg. Funeral prayers Friday, 9:15 AM at the funeral home to St. Hubert Catholic Church, 729 Grand Canyon Street, Hoffman Estates, Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow.
