Bret Running passed away on the August 23rd 2016 of natural causes, surrounded by his family. He was born on November 28th 1960 to Wayne and Shirley (Otto) Running in South St. Paul. Bret was a kind, loving person, who loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, spending time at the lake and trapshooting. Bret was an avid Viking fan, who religiously watched every game. He also loved playing cards and playing pool. Bret was a member of the Owatonna KC's and the Eagles. He is survived by his wife, Denise, of 29 years and brothers Jeffrey (Gina) Running, Michael (Sue) Running, Sister's: Sue (John Irrgang) West, Pam (Jeff) Maxa. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, David and Janet Miller, Sister-in-laws, Dannette Lawrence, Mary Miller, Karla (Merle) Sveen. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews who he loved so dearly. And of course, he is survived by his dogs Maggie and TJ and his many chickens. Bret was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Shirley, and brother-in-law, Jeff Miller. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Everyone who will be attending the visitation and funeral please wear your purple and gold attire in support of Bret's love for the Vikings. |
