Richard Allen Wotapka, age 83, of Sykesville, died suddenly, on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at the Carroll Hospital Center. Born, February 26, 1931, in New York, he was the son of the late Louis and Evelyn Wotapka. He was the husband of the late Anne Wotapka, his wife of 56 years. Richard had been an Electrical Engineer. He enjoyed bowling, archery and trap shooting, photography and his German Shepherds (Beau, King and Duke). His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family; especially his wife, the love of his life who he is now reunited with. Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law Chris and Larry Maimone, Cindy and Michael Penn, and Cathy and Phil Schwaab; grandchildren and spouses: Christopher, Lauren, Alex and Anna Maimone, Michael Penn and wife Mindy, Miranda Patterson and husband Chris, Josh Penn and wife Kristen, Chasta Penn, Matthew Schwaab and wife Amanda and Becca Schwaab; sisters-in-law, Pat Harvey and husband Ivy of NJ, Rosemary Cippoletti of FL and brother-in-law, Tommy Ciminello and wife Lynne of NY and numerous nieces and nephews. |
