FRANK CHARLES RODSKI, SR.

 

Frank Charles Rodski Sr., 64, of Eldersburg, died unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, onboard the Oasis of the Seas cruise ship. Born May 16, 1945, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., he was the son of the late Frank Stanley and Josephine Siegel Rodski. He was the husband of Sandra Lee Guesto Rodski, his wife of 41 years. He was a graduate of King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. He retired from the Social Security Administration in 2002, where he had worked as a systems analyst for 34 years. He was a ham radio operator and held the call letters K3MTT. He was a founding member of the Carroll County Amateur Radio Club. He collected and restored antique radios. He enjoyed flying model airplanes and was a member of the South Carroll Aeromodelers Club. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing with his sons. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Community in Eldersburg and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Fulton Sheen Council No. 7612. He and his wife enjoyed traveling. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons and daughters-in-law Frank C. Jr. and Yvonne C. Rodski, of Eldersburg, and Christopher B. and Lorrie B. Rodski, of Hampstead; a brother, Gerald Rodski, of Mountain Top, Pa.; a mother-in-law, Josephine Guesto, of Wilkes-Barre; and grandchildren Frank A., Mikayla A., Brianna C. and Bradley R. Rodski.
