Frank Charles Rodski Sr., 64, of Eldersburg, died unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, onboard the Oasis of the Seas cruise ship. Born May 16, 1945, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., he was the son of the late Frank Stanley and Josephine Siegel Rodski. He was the husband of Sandra Lee Guesto Rodski, his wife of 41 years. He was a graduate of King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. He retired from the Social Security Administration in 2002, where he had worked as a systems analyst for 34 years. He was a ham radio operator and held the call letters K3MTT. He was a founding member of the Carroll County Amateur Radio Club. He collected and restored antique radios. He enjoyed flying model airplanes and was a member of the South Carroll Aeromodelers Club. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing with his sons. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Community in Eldersburg and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Fulton Sheen Council No. 7612. He and his wife enjoyed traveling. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons and daughters-in-law Frank C. Jr. and Yvonne C. Rodski, of Eldersburg, and Christopher B. and Lorrie B. Rodski, of Hampstead; a brother, Gerald Rodski, of Mountain Top, Pa.; a mother-in-law, Josephine Guesto, of Wilkes-Barre; and grandchildren Frank A., Mikayla A., Brianna C. and Bradley R. Rodski. |
