EDWARD "ED" M. BUDELIS

 

Edward M. Budelis, 85, of Eldersburg, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 4, 2012.

Born Nov. 23, 1926, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Joseph and Magdalena Sakavicius Budelis. He was the husband of Anne T. Budelis, his wife of 61 years.

He was an Army veteran, having served in Europe during World War II. He had taught in Baltimore County high schools for more than 27 years.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion Post No. 223 in Sykesville. He enjoyed gardening, reading and traveling.

He was the last of his immediate family.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters Mary B. Kerney and husband Jay, Adele B. Sadosky and husband Chet, and Monica A. Dailey and husband Terry; sons Andrew M. Budelis and wife Susan, and Joseph A. Budelis; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by an infant son, Edward Budelis, who died Sept. 23, 1953; two brothers; and two sisters.
