COUNCIL #6419 - HOT SPRINGS COUNCIL REMEMBERS
THOMAS A GILLERAN

 

Tom Gilleran, who was a very active member of Council 6419 died August 2 in National Park Hospital from complications caused by a series falls at his home. Tom joined the Knights in May of 1960. Tom was 75 July 14th and had been a Knight since May of 1960. Tom was very active and was well known for his coffee cup he often carried to Council project. Tom went to school in Rhode Island and was an 20 year Air Force veteran. Tom had assumed the role of organizing brother Knights to raise the flags on holidays calling them to remind of times up and down. Tom had a multitude of sayings, among them, "More better" and "do gooder".
Tom was often a go-to guy when the need arose to pick up donated items for the council rummage sale.Tom loved fishing and often went alone until is health forced him to quit.
Tom will be missed by his brother Knights as well as his family Tom's son Tom junior is the well known of the Lake Hamilton football team.
