ELK GROVE VILLAGE - Robert J. 82, and Norine D. (nee Pouce) Fridlund, 77, of Elk Grove Village for 55 years, died July 16 from injuries sustained from an automobile accident. They were married for 54 years and were the beloved parents of Julie (Chris) Martin,Colleen Muff, Christopher (Joyce), and Stephen Fridlund; cherished grandparents of Megan, Kayla (Cole) Pfeiffer, and Emily Kadrich, Jaqueline Muff, Jacob and Linnea Fridlund; and great-grandparents of Brayden Pfeiffer and Sophie Kadrich. Norine is the dear sister of Evelyn (Donald) Sadecki and the late Dolores (the late Robert) Szeszycki. Robert was a retired 33 year employee of IL. Bell/At&T, a Navy Veteran, and a fourth degree member of Albert Cardinal Meyer Knights of Columbus Council 5751. Norine was a beloved homemaker. Visitation Friday, July 22, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Road, Elk Grove Village. Family and friends will gather at St. Julian Eymard Church, 601 Biesterfield Rd., Elk Grove Village, on Saturday, for 10 a.m. Mass.
