Robert W. Wahl, 81, of Las Vegas, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2005. He was born Jan. 9, 1924, in Lansing, Mich., and resided in Las Vegas for 11 years. Robert was a retired automotive accountant. He was also a highly decorated veteran serving in the U.S. Army during World War II. Robert was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Mended Hearts, AARP and VFW. Robert is survived by his wife of 59 years, Elizabeth J. Wahl; daughters, Kay Horton of Farmington, N.M. and Renee Smittle of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 12, with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m., both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S.
