Thomas William Stoltz Jr., 55, of Hollidaysburg, loving husband and wonderful father, passed away unexpectedly from an
apparent heart attack on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family.
Tom was born on September 14, 1958 in Altoona, Pennsylvania. He is the son of Thomas and Josephine (Good) Stoltz. He
married Cathy Baker on August 11, 1984 and was the proud father of his three beautiful daughters, Megan, Maureen and
Maggie. His daughters were and always will be his pride and joy.
He is survived by his wife and children; his parents; as well as his two sisters: Therese Dmytryshak married to Mike; Marcella
Goldberg married to Jesse and a brother, Michael Stoltz married to Paula; also survived by special aunts, uncles and cousins.
Tom enjoyed joking and having fun with his ten nieces and five nephews and also with his many brothers and sisters-in-law.
Tom was a 1976 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School and a 1980 graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Accounting.
Tom was the Chief Financial Officer of Pyramid Healthcare for the past fourteen years. He was looking forward to his
retirement next month. Prior to working at Pyramid, Tom also had been employed at Lutheran Social Services, North
American Communications and Boyer Brother's Candy.
Tom was a member of Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church in Hollidaysburg. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus
and a member of the Heidelberg Club. He was a past member of the National Association of Accountants. Some of Tom's
hobbies included bicycling on the Rails to Trails, PSU games, Pirate and Steeler games, playing poker, working with his
brother and going fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Friends will be received from 1-2 pm Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Sorge Funeral Home, Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a vigil
service will be held.
A funeral Mass will be held 3 pm Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church by Father Anthony Legarski. Private committal in
New St. Mary Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Phoenix Volunteer Fire Company or the Hollidaysburg American Legion
Ambulance Service.
