(Deacon) Joseph Michael Kennedy, baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the age of 72.
Beloved husband for 49 years of Jeannine Kennedy (nee Townsend). Dear father of Joe (Laurie) Kennedy, Kathleen Kennedy, Michael Kennedy, Mary Beth (Michael) Barger, Martin (Erika) Kennedy, Jack Kennedy and the late Daniel Patrick. Grandfather of Amanda, Caitlin, Emily, Dan, Meg, Patrick and Andy. Great grandfather of Connor and Grayson. Brother of Dorothy (Ken) Davis, Kathleen (Larry) Albright, the late Jack, Mary Jo and Dan. Uncle, Brother-in-law, cousin and friend to many.
Joe was a uniformed member of the St. Louis County Police Department for 13 years. He retired from Mastercard as Director of Security. He was ordained a Deacon in the Catholic Church on June 15, 1996 and served at Christ, Prince of Peace Parish for 18 years.
