Rudolph Andrew Muller, 81 of Virginia Beach, VA, formerly of Miller Place, NY, passed away July 17, 2015, after a long, brave battle with cancer. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to Max and Mary Muller.
He graduated from the Casey Jones School of Aeronautical Engineering and served in the United States Air Force for four years. He retired after 36 years of service with the NY Telephone Company. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years, Janet; 4 children, Michael (Kathy), Gregory (Diana), Douglas (Diane), and Claudia (Ross); and 11 grandchildren. He was a devoted loving husband, father, and grandfather.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel on Monday, July 20, 2015, from 5:00-7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at 11:00 AM with Deacon Walker King officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, VA.
