Obit: William P. Lamitina, Sr. of Anacoco, Louisiana, formerly of Warsaw, died November 5, 2007 in Leesville, Louisiana. He was 67. He was born in Warsaw December 16, 1939, son of the late Joseph and Gladys Stone Lamitina. He lived most of his life in Warsaw where he was employed at Pavilion Gas Company and Potter-DeWitt Construction Company. He moved to Louisiana in 1990 where he worked as Grounds Supervisor for the Louisiana Lions Camp for Crippled Children. He was a member of St. Michael's Church in Warsaw and Leesville, Louisiana. Bill enjoyed bingo, cards and hunting with his brothers. He also enjoyed selling fruits and vegetables. Surviving are three sons, William (Janie) Lamitina, Jr. of Boise, Idaho; Patrick (Cynthia) Lamitina of Anasoco, Louisiana; Steven (Kim) Lamitina of DeRidder, Louisiana; one dauther, Debbie Hall of Warsaw; two brothers, Joseph (Beverly) Lamitina of Boise, Idaho, Robert (Laura) Lamitina of Ashboro, North Carolina; one sister, Mary (Robert) Doxtater of Warsaw; a sister-in-law, Flo Lamitina of Warsaw; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 10 AM at Warsaw Cemetery. Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw completed the local arrangements.
