Funeral services for Larry J. Borel, 74, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Saint Michael The Archangel Catholic Church with Father Kenneth Michiels officiating. Burial will follow in the Siloam Cemetery in Negrett, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m., Friday, December 14th, at the funeral home. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Larry, the son of Fred and Lucille Connor Borel was born October 7, 1938, in Abbeville, LA. He passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012, in Leesville, LA. Mr. Borel loved to cook Cajon food, Cajon music, working with plants, to bird watch and love to read. He was very knowledgeable, a very hard worker, a safe driver, and very conservative. He never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face. Larry was the best family man. Larry is survived by his wife Nada Borel of Leesville, LA; son, Perry Borel of Lake Charles, LA; step-son, Scott Vines and wife Julie of Many, LA; daughters, Suzanne Borel of Lake Charels, LA, Stephanie Borel of Lake Charles, LA & Eve Boudreaux and husband, Scott of Moss Bluff, LA; brothers, Mickey Borel & wife Linda of Lake Charles, LA & Terry Borel of Wheatland, WY and grandchildren, Chyon, Katelyn, John, Teddy, Celisa , Christian, Colin, Ella & Kyiana. |
