Roy Joseph Tastet passed away on Friday, June 5, 2015 at the age of 70. Roy graduated from West Jefferson High in 1963, and proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1970 as a SGT stationed in Castle, Germany. He retired from McDermott in 1987 as Port Captain then worked for ADT Security for 10 years before moving to Georgia. He was a member of St Thomas Aquinas Church in Alpharetta, GA, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Roy had a passion for serving his community and helping those in need. He was an avid sports fan and loved to travel. His warm, generous heart will be greatly missed by so many. |
