Michael E. Salovay

Michael E. Salovay, 58, of 1324 Russett Road, Allentown, died Sunday, Nov. 19, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Sagl) Salovay. They were married 38 years last April.. He was a field supervisor and electrical inspector for Upper Macungie Township. Born in Allentown, he was a son of Rose (Konapelsky) Salovay of Allentown and the late Michael Salovay.
He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Orefield, and a member of its Knights of Columbus Council 10921. He was an Army veteran and served as an instructor at the Army Guided Missile Installation Electrical Equipment Repairmen School in Belvoir, Va. He was a member of the Kuhnsville Area Lions Club.
Survivors: Wife; mother; son, Michael J. of Allentown; daughter, Donna M. of Pittsburgh; sister, Helen Schrantz of Allentown.
Mass: 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Call 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville, and 9:15-10 a.m. Wednesday in the church. |
