Kucharik, Michael S.Michael S. Kucharik, 101, of Orefield, passed away Thursday October 2, 2014 in the Phoebe Home, Allentown, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Althea M. (Semmel) Kucharik. Michael was born in Allentown a son of the late John S. and Mary R. (Katerinec) Kucharik. He was an Insurance Agent for the Prudential Life Insurance Company, serving the Northampton area for 38 years before retiring in 1975. Michael was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Orefield. He received his 4th Degree with the Knights of Columbus. Michael was a U.S. Army Air Force Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Howard L Peter American Legion Post # 576 for over 50 years. Survivors: Daughters: Suzanne wife of Gerald R. Burian of Allentown and Mary L. wife of John Maroski of Bethlehem, Brothers: Paul Kucharik of Shelton, WA and Joseph Kucharik of Whitehall, grandchildren, Pati Berl, Michael McCready, Linda Salomon, Allison Morgan, Lisa Maroski, Kevin Marks and seven great-grandchilden. He was predeceased by his brothers, John F. and Stephen Kucharik and his sisters, Josephine Herega, Anna Smalley, Elizabeth Malloy, Julia Smetana and Mary Menges. |
