John L. Jack Maroski, 91, of Fogelsville, died Saturday, July 10, in Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Geraldine Elizabeth (Ettl) Maroski. Born in Duluth, Minn., he was a son of the late Michael and Anna (Drevitsky) Maroski. He was a physical testing technician for Pennoni Associates for 12 years before retiring in 2000. Previously, he worked for E.L. Conwell for 17 years and for Lehigh Portland Cement Co. for 33 years at its research laboratory in Ormrod. He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Orefield. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus for 47 years, receiving 4th-degree membership and serving as financial secretary and grand knight. He was a member of Fogelsville Fire Company for 21 years and served as treasurer of it s social club and was a member of its fire police team. He was a member of the Lehigh County Security Police, a branch of the Lehigh County Sheriffs Department, for 13 years. He was secretary of the Atlantic Central Steam Company, the organization that resored Canadian Pacific Royal Hudson Steam Locomotive 2839. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. Survivors: Son, John G., and daughter-in-law, Mary (Kucharik) of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Elizabeth Lisa of Chicago, Ill., Kevin of Madison, Wis.; sister, Veronica of Danielsville; brother, Frank of Bethlehem.
