Louis B. Fasing, 77, of Schnecksville, died Nov. 25 in his home. He was married to Dorothy J. (Kennedy) Fasing for 56 years last April. He was manager of personnel, safety and training for Lehigh Portland Cement Co., Allentown, for 10 years before retiring in 1991. Previously, he worked for Universal Atlas Cement Co., Northampton, for 32 years. Born in Whiting, Ind., he was a son of the late Louis and Mary Fasing. He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Orefield. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving as a paratrooper with the 11th Airborne Division in the Asiatic Pacific theatre. He was a 4th Degree member of Knights of Columbus, Knight Council 10921, and a member of the Guthsville Rod & Gun Club. Survivors: Wife; sons, Timothy L. of Centennial, Col., Gregory J. of Denver, Col., Brian J. of Bristow, Va.; five grandchildren. |
