Charles R. Doolittle, 91, of 8503 Overton, Raytown, died Sunday at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born in Ottumwa, Iowa, and had lived in this area 50 years. Mr. Doolittle had worked for Greenlease-O'Neill Inc. 15 years before he retired in 1957. He was a member of St. Regis Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council 4962. He was an Army veteran of World War I and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He leaves a son, C.W. Doolittle, 12637 Overbrook, Leawood; two daughters, Miss Betty C. Doolittle of the home and Mrs. Jane M. Dolan, Madison, Wis.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. |
