Vito Paul DeGeorge, 82, Kansas City, Mo., died February 23, 1995, at St. Luke's Hospital. Mr. DeGeorge was born May 19, 1912, in Kansas City, Mo.
He was honored at the Bishop's Annual Recognition Dinner in 1979 for his participation in parish life at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He was a member of the Men's Club, Ushers Club, St. Vincent dePaul Society, and a 4th degree Knights of Columbus Council 4962. He served as council chancellor, council vocations chairman and membership chairman. Working with the Rev. Joseph Mancuso, then Diocesan Vocations Director, he helped organize a council-sponsored dinner for advanced Seminarians. He taught graphic arts and printing at Westport High School and at the Joe Herndon Area Vocational Technical School. He was preceded in death in 1992, by his wife, Mary DeGeorge.
