William G. "Bill" Moore, 77, Lee's Summit, MO, passed away Thursday, October 10, 1996, at John Knox Care Center. Mr. Moore was born February 5, 1919, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was a sales manager for DuPont for 40 years before retiring in 1981. He graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, with a B.A. in History. He was a member of the St. Vincent Dc Paul Society, the Serra Club, and initiated the 31 Club at Our Lady of Lourdes. He organized and was first president of the Raytown Energy Assistance Program and was a volunteer at Research Medical Center. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4962 and was active with many church activities. Bill was full of life. His humor, friendliness, generosity and gregarious nature will be greatly missed by family and friends. |
