Glenn W. Shults, 70, Raytown, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 1997, at Vencor Hospital, Kansas City, MO. Mr. Shults was a member of Our Lady Lourdes Parish, where he was a Eucharistic Minister. Born on May 12, 1927, in Orrick, MO, he graduated from William Chrisman High School, before joining the Navy during WWII. Glen attended Kansas City Junior College. He married Marguerite O'Leary in Long Beach, CA, then returned to MO. Besides operating a sign painting business In Raytown, MO, for several years, he was employed by Sheffield Steel. He went on to complete a 27-year career with the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 1989. Mr. Schults was a member of the VFW Post 1000, Knights of Columbus Council 4962, Friendly Club of Our Lady of Lourdes, Stroke Support Group, and St. Regis' Over 50 Group. Among his many talents were beekeeping, gardening, sign painting, and ceramics. |
