Wilbert Charles Wolfgeher Sr. of Independence, MO, passed away September 14, 2001, at Medical Center of Independence. Wilbert was born February 1, 1924, in Kansas City, MO. He was a member of Nativity of Mary Catholic Church. He graduated from Manuel High School in 1941, and was a WWII Navy veteran. Wilbert was a member of 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, and a charter member of Raytown Council 4962. A past Faithful Navigator, and past District Deputy and a member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree Team. He worked for Malone Sheet Metal and later owned his own business, Wolfgeher Sheet Metal. Wilbert was also a member of St. Bernadette's Parish in Hermitage, MO, and former member of Our Lady of Sorrows. |
