Major Nello L. Tonsi, 86, Raytown, MO, passed away February 22, 2002, at John Knox Care Center. Major Tonsi (Retired) was born April 27, 1915, in Ironwood, MI. He was married to Dolores B. Tonsi on August 24, 1946. He retired as a Major after serving 22 years in the United States Air Force. After his military service, he worked for McDonnell Douglas and as a civil service employee. He was most proud of his volunteer work as a volunteer for Research Hospital and was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes and Knights of Columbus Council 4962. |
