OSCAR J. ZELLER

 

Kansas City, Mo. --- Oscar Zeller, 89, of Kansas City, and formerly of Aberdeen died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002, at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio. His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Springfield, Minn. Oscar Zeller was born Jan. 18, 1913, to Otto and Lena (Johnson) Zeller in Aberdeen. He graduated from high school in Aberdeen. During his schooling, and after graduation he worked with his father at Zeller Construction in Aberdeen. He later built grain elevators in southern Minnesota.

He married Eleanor Bigot on Aug. 12, 1940, in Springfield. He was a carpenter and they made their home in St. Cloud, Minn., for many years where he worked for Conlon Construction. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus. After retirement, he continued his love of carpentry and shopwork.
