August R. Moix, 80, of Independence, MO, passed away September 4, 2002. He was born August 21, 1922 at Conway, AR, the son of Alex and Amelia Luyet Moix. He was a member of Sheet Metal Local No. 2, was an apprentice instructor and had worked 27 years for Gieske Sheet Metal Co., retiring in 1982. Mr. Moix was a veteran of World War II, serving as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council No. 4962 and a member of the Fourth Degree. |
