Joe Jaime, 82, Kansas City, MO, died peacefully at his home on February 12, 2004. Joe was born March 18, 1922, in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Joe and his family immigrated to the United States when he was five years old. He grew up in Argentine, KS, where he attended Argentine High and graduated in 1940. He entered the US Army in 1942 and proudly served as a Technical Sergeant in World War II, and was discharged in 1946. Upon return from the service, Joe attended KC Business College, where he studied accounting. Joe married his wife Mary in 1950, and worked many years as an office manager, accountant, and insurance sales representative for several local companies while raising his family. He retired in 1986. He was a member of St. Regis Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #4692, American Legion Post #71, VFW Post 5789, and was an avid sports fan. Most of all, Joe will be remembered as a devoted husband and father, always willing to help others in need.
